Natalie Thivierge, our amazing Race Director is also the brainchild behind Fireweed Runners, a remarkable youth running squad in Whitehorse. On September 30th, Fireweed Runners will travel to Edmonton to participate in the Truth and Reconciliation Run. This event honors Indigenous people who did not survive the residential school era. The Orange Shirt Day run aims to support and unite people in solidarity with the survivors who continue to fight for healing and justice.Fireweed Runners is a non-competitive girls running team that meets weekly to run together, with a focus on supporting our mental health. Raven 50 donations this year will be directed to the Fireweed Runners.
